About Us

The Sterling team has its origins in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, where Paul McGoldrick founded his life insurance firm in 1964. His work became the catalyst of 50 years of dedication to his clients and the greater Littleton community. In 1988, he recruited Heather Powers out of Middlebury College, coached her, and then mentored her after she moved to Boston to join the Commonwealth Financial Group. There she met and has worked with Joe Malouf since 1991.

In the three decades since, we have assembled a team dedicated to auditing, repairing, designing, implementing and servicing the highest quality Life Insurance Portfolios and Compensation Packages.

We do not offer accounting, legal or investment advice, rather, we work collaboratively with the client's advisory team or compensation committee to deliver a life insurance portfolio that complements the estate, tax, investment and compensation strategies developed with other team members.
